MODULE 2:
FLATNESS vs PROJECTION
This module was designed to differentiate between 'subjective' and 'objective' points of view, to further define 2D and 3D spatial constructions. Mario Bros, was known for its unique 2D world, and in this module, we combined 2 sections of a certain Mario world and combined it with axonometric projection.

In this particular Mario world combination designed by Mario, there is a quite some unique traits. The original template doesn't really have much ornaments and characters, and that is why those are added in this combination. The projected worlds portrayed a sense of high density, similar to modern urban jungles with its green 'towers'. Some slight adjustments were done due to that the clouds covered half of the world and will block everything on ground. One noticeable trait of the centre area of the world is the Bank of China tower from Hong Kong, a well-known high density city. This was added due to the interest of the designer of modern architecture and skyscrapers. On the bottom left area (southwestern), a World War II-era Imperial Japanese battleship, the Kongou was added alongside a small port as a random addition particularly for the designer's interest in World War II naval history. Lastly, on the centre-right area, a Mario was added in relation to the designer's name itself.
